Mental Recession

I'd like to say that I was holding off on my writing for reasons of holding off till I had something of substance to write... but the reality is that wasn't the case. I was just doing your typical lazy man crap and not saying much about it. Not much change there.

But you know what has changed since then?

Can someone tell my how it's possible that the price of gas could jump from $3.78 to $4.39 since my last blog post? Our unemployment rate just experienced its highest spike in decades, everyone knows someone who's trying to sell their soon-to-be foreclosed home while managing debt that's way beyond their means... it's all crazy yo.

While all of this is going on, the media focusing on Obama giving a little victory dap to his wifey...

Not too worry though, if we all keep this ignorant attitude just a little bit longer, this'll happen...

So, if you're going to do anything for the next couple of months, can you at least think globally and act locally? If our Democratic nominee giving dap seems exciting, can you at least get out to vote this year? I'm not saying to go out there and buy an electric car or give up that morning latte at Starbucks you buy with your credit card everyday... I'm just sayin that you should get wise and open your eyes. If you're doing your part, then good for you - keep up the good work.

To everyone else: Just realize that you can't plead ignorance forever, you know.
